Each year the 7th and 8th graders have the opportunity to travel with their classmates. June 2010 we are going to New York City! This trip will be open for 7th and 8th grade students and their families. We will be leaving sometime the first week of June (4 days, 3 nights). The cost for this trip is $1,489 for students ($1,694 for adults). Starting October 1st the price for students will be $1,573 ($1,778 for adults). This price includes the flight, ground transportation, hotel, 3 breakfasts, 3 dinners, entrance to all sites, a personal tour director for our group, hotel security & supervision, and more. Some of the things we will be going to see include: the Empire State building, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, a Broadway Show, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Wall Street, and much much more. There is a sample schedule below of what we will see (this is not the actual schedule). When you sign up for the trip you must pay a deposit of $150. Another payment is due 30 days later. Then you can make payments as you wish. The trip must be paid in full by March 2010.

Day 1: Arrive in New York, walking tour of Fifth Ave, Rockefeller Center, NBC Studios, St. Patricks Cathedral, Trump Tower, Empire State building by Night.
Day 2: Be part of the CBS Early Show audience, Guided tour of Wall Street, Chinatown, Little Italy, Times Square, World Trade Center site, Visit Metropolitan Museum of Art, Take a Walking Tour of Central Park (Strawberry Fields, Bethesda Fountain, Friedsam Memorial Carousel), attend a Broadway Show
Day 3: New York City, Battery Park, Visit Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Walk the Brooklyn Bridge, Explore Chinatown and Little Italy, Dinner in Chinatown, attend a Model UN workshop
Day 4: Walking tour of Greenwich Village and SoHo (cast iron architecture, Washington Square Park, NYU, Art galleries, boutiques, turn of the century buildings), depart for home.
