Eighth Grade Field Trip
Thursday, November 19, All Day

The 8th Grade Class will be going on a field trip on Thursday, November 19, 
to the  Chamber Theatre Production at the Stafford Centre in Stafford, TX.  
This trip is a favorite extension of the language arts 
curriculum.  Five one-act short story classics will be performed.  They 
include: The Tell-Tale Heart, The Monkey’s Paw, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, 
The Necklace, and The Jumping Frog from Calaveras County.  The performance 
begins at 10:30.  We will depart from school at 8:45 on a chartered bus.  The 
group will eat a late lunch at Sweet Tomatoes or McDonalds at the Willowbrook 
Mall location. We will finish the day touring the production facilities and 
main office of Houston Poly-Bag. Students are to bring money for lunch.  Six 
additional tickets have been reserved for parents.  This is a great day away 
from school.  The cost is $40 for each student.  There are also three parent 
tickets available at this cost.

Remember - tomorrow is Veterans' Day - please remember to wear RED, WHITE,and
BLUE to honor our veterans.  Our program starts at 2:00 in the Sanctuary.
