Salem Third Grade

<DIV class=MsoNormal style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; MARGIN: 0in 0in 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: normal">Our Chapel offerings this month will be supporting TEAM and their families in need.  Each grade level is asked to bring different items.  Third graders are asked to bring canned sweet potatoes/yams.  Thanks for supporting this! 
 
Also - we are collecting gently used toys with few parts and no batteries for children in Rio Bravo, Mexico.  Both offering opportunities end tomorrow, December 16th. 
 
Christmas Party - We will begin at about 11:50.  Students may wear Christmas attire that is within dress code.  (No spaghetti straps, short dresses/skirts, etc.)  Mr. S's class is still in need of volunteers!  If you have signed up to bring party supplies, please make sure they are here before the party!  We are still in need of the following items: 
Mr. S's class - Green Frosting (2 tubs), Red Hots, Twizzlers Pull 'n Peel 
Mrs. Tally's class - Pointy, brown, ice cream cones (20), 2 tubs of green frosting, Twizzlers Pull 'n Peel, Colored sugar gum drops. 
 
We are having lunch in the cafeteria on Friday.  Students may bring their lunch or buy lunch as usual.  
 
After the party (or as it is ending), we would also very much appreciate help taking down Christmas decorations! 
 
Thank you so much to all of our parents who supported our Miracles Happen dinner and auction.  We cannot thank you enough for your help and generosity.  The students are the real winners of this event! 
 
Tonight, December 15th at 7:00 pm is our school Christmas Program.  Students need to be in their classrooms by 6:30 pm.  Students are to wear Christmas colors (red, green, gold, dark blue, white, black).  Boys - no jeans; wear tan, blue or black slacks.  Girls - no jeans, no spaghetti straps; wear dresses, skirts, or nice pants.
