P. 215 Rubrics for the following Task: Project Major grade Chapter 4B

DUE DATE:

Task: A special event is coming up on the calendar and you want to invite a famous hispanic friend to go with you.

1. Gather 5 -7 facts about the famous hispanic friend. You will have to introduce him to your audience before you tell us about the special event that you have invited him/her to attend.

2. Make sure you write out the facts in complete sentences (Yes, in Spanish) :)

3. Follow the steps on p. 215 of your text. You will be required to provide and turn in a draft by Tuesday.

Here are a few hints while you are thinking about your invitation:

Make sure you remember to use the 5-Ws: (Who, What, When, Where, Why)

Make sure to make your invitation appealing and pleasing to the eye. Use artwork, calligraphy etc.. Be creative and above all very neat.

Make sure to use correct grammar structure and appropriate vocabulary. Spelling is vital, so please check your work.

Begin to practice your oral presentation with a partner.

Grading Rubric: Here is what a 1 -3 scale looks like. (I have chosen to give you 3 examples)
