11/16/09 lunes  (Monday)
Procedures:
1. Have students work on pronunciation of
vocabulary p.96.
2. Read A Primer Vista and
Videohistoria Pages 74 through 77 in text.
3.Complete p. 77 ¿Comprendes?
4. Complete workbook pages as guided
practice.
5. Read page 82, review subject pronouns
and orally complete p. 83 Activity 12.
Homework: P. 83 in text activity 12 and p. 35 Wava I.


11/17/09 martes (Tuesday)

Procedures:
1. Introduce and review the following
cultural pages:
- p.72
- p.80
- p.81
- p.86
- p.91
2. Have class discussion comparing and
contrasting class schedules and school
activities of Hispanic countries.
3. Reintroduce subject pronouns and
conjugatoin of (ar verbs) Hablar, bailar,
estudiar, trabajar, cantar
4. Review for test on Wednesday .
Homework: Study for test (Vocabulary,
cultural information, subject pronouns

P. 78 and 79 act 4 and 6.

11/18/09 miércoles (Wednesday)

Procedures:
1. Pass out all information, explain
directions and allow one class period to
complete test.
2. If finished prior to bell - handout
explanation of upcoming semester exam.


Homework: Read conjugation of ar verbs on p. 84 and complete Activity 14 on 
p. 85.

11/19/09 jueves (Thursday)

Procedures:
1. Begin review and introduction of other
er and ir verbs for conjugation.
2. Provide lots of guided practice and
examples of conjugating verbs.
3. Write simple sentences for students to
practice conjugation.
4. Complete all workbook pages and text
exercises.

11/20/09 viernes (Friday)
Procedures:
1. Review quickly through workbook
pages and handouts the concept of ar
verb conjugation.
2. Provide additional guided practice /
warmup activity with conjugation.
3. Discuss what the students will see on
film.
4. Follow through with reading selection
pages 94 and 95 in text.

Homework: If all goes well, there will be no homework assigned. But please 
keep in mind, Semester exams are scheduled for January 6th- 8th. Studying 
should begin now.

11/30/09 lunes

Procedures:
1. Students will pronounce vocabulary p.
96
2. Students will use textbook and
workbook pages to reinforce vocabulary.
3.Complete all exercises dealing with
conjugation of verbs.
4. Reinforce conjugation by guided
practice exercises on overhead and
board.
5. Review for quiz next day on
conjugation.

Homework: Handout on conjugation.

12/01/09 martes

Procedures:
1. Allow 1/2 class period to complete quiz
over verb conjugation.
2. Introduce new vocabulary p.120 Have
students write 3x each.
3. Introduce A Primera Vista and complete
actividad 1 and 2.

5.Reinforce with pages 102 and 103.

6 pages 104, 105.
3.Introduce verb estar p. 107 text

Homework: Complete activities 9 and 10

Procedures:
1. Continue with review of verb estar.
2. Show Gramactiva video
3. Complete activities 11 and 12.
4. Quiz recognition / production of chapter
2B

Homework:Read all cultural readings for quiz on Monday.

emphasize pronunciation and recognition.
3. Introduce A Primera Vista p. 222 &
p.223.
Homework: Activity 14 p. 206, activity 18 p. 209 and read page 216 and 217.

Procedures:
1.Check homework.
2.Practice family vocabulary p 244.
3.Review A Primera Vista
4.Review for Chapter 4B (part 2) Test.
Homework: Study for test. Use Bluestrip
pages to practice.


11/18/09 miércoles  (Wednesday)

Procedures:
1. Students will need one class period to
complete test.
2. Complete any
outstanding assignments after test.

Homework: Chapter 5A p. 244 3x each. 

11/19/09  jueves (Thursday)


Procedures:
1. Show videohistoria.
2. Follow-up with transparencies on the
overhead as reinforcement.
3. Have students read aloud and complete
¿Comprendes?
4. Divide students in small groups of three
and have them translate information on
videoscript.
Homework: Complete Wava II pages 88
and 89.


11/20/09  viernes (Friday)

Procedures:
1. Manos a la obra pages 226 - 228.
2. Show GramActiva to reinforce Tener.
3. Take quiz over Videoscript.

Homework: If all goes according to plan. no homework will be asigned over 
Thanksgiving Holiday, but please keep in mind that it is always a good idea 
to continually review vocabulary.

1. Divide students into partners and
assign pages 229 Activities 11-13.
2. Review family vocabulary and include
additional vocabulary.
3. Reinforce grammar with
transparencies.

Homework: Study for recognition quiz. (p.
155-158)

12/02/09 miércoles

Procedure:
1. Students will take recognition quiz.
2.. Review the usage of verb Tener
includeing the following:
- regular conjugation
- relationship
- possession
- age
3. Complete exercises p. 228 if not
previously done.
4. Show GramActiva
5. Complete Actividad 14 p. 230.
6. Remind students of vocabulary
production quiz on Friday

Procedures:
1. Review family relations by orally and
use of overhead questions.
2. Begin oral reports.
3. Remind students of production quiz

2. Introduce possessive adjectives p. 232
and reinforce with GramActiva.
