Procedures:
1.Introduce vocabulary for pronunciation
practice p. 120.
2. Work on pronunciation and recognition.
3. Introduce A Primera Vista p. 100 and
101.
Tarea: complete pgs. 40 and 41 Wava I.

12/09/09 miércoles
Procedures:
1. Review vocabulary p. 120.
2. Introduce Videohistoria and follow
through with p. 102 and 103. in text.
3. Complete comprendes p. 103.
4. Complete p. 104 Activity 4 and 5 to
reinforce vocabulary.
5. Introduce forms of the verb Estar.

Tarea: Wava I p.42 and 43.

Teacher absent: Please follow instructions left on the board. You will be 
viewing A Primera Vista and the Videohistoria. You will need your workbook 
for class.  Thank you.

Procedures:
1. Reintroduce information to students on
board and overhead. Have them come up
and write articles in front of nouns.
2. Show GramActiva video as
reinforcement.
3. Complete exercises in text p. 110
Activities 15 and 16.
4. Complete audio p. 41 Wava II actvity 5
and 6.

1. Quickly review any last minute
questions.
2. Handout tests and allow one class
period to complete.
3. After test, complete cultural readings p.
220 and p. 226 from text.
Tarea: Read La Familia de Pablo actvity
14 p. 230.

12/08/09 martes
Procedure:
1.Students will read in class Fondo
culturales, and concentrate on Pablo's
family.
2. Introduce students to the Royal family
and particiate in discussion.
3. Complete exercises on p. 230 and 231
Act. 14 - 17.
4. Introduce Goya and use paintings on
transparency for explanation and
discussion.
5. Hava a series of questions and
answers.
Tarea: Describe a fictional Royal family
and a fictional country for the family to
rule. Be prepared to share with the class.

Procedure:
1. Reintroduce possessive adjectives.
2. Show GramActiva as reinforcement.
3. Complete Activity 18 and 20 pgs. 232
and 234.
4. Quiz on possessive adjectives(Sra.
Bolivar)
5. Complete pages 159-162 Bluestrip
(Sra. Richardson)
6. Introduce diminutivos p. 235.
Tarea: Read p. 234 Text(Ready for
partner game) next day.

You will be working on fictional Royal Family.
You will also need your Bluestrip workbook to complete pages 159-162. This is 
the official homework for today (Wednesday).

Procedure:
1. Divide students into teams with a
partner. Have them follow instructions and
create game. Provide instructions from
teacher resource text.
2. Introduce p. 238 Quinceañera and
discuss traditional ceremony.
3. Have students participate in discussion
comparing things to the American "sweet
16."
4. Follow through with Blue strip workbook
p. 163.
********** Note: Due to teacher absence plans are adjusted.
STudents need to prepare at home for the cube game that has been moved to 
Friday. Oral "Royal Family" presentations will continue. Quiz grade.

2. Generate discussion using
transparency art.
3. Mention and discuss Frida Kahlo
4. Start listening exercises. Choose from
