I was born in Dallas Texas and moved to Austin when I was six years old. I
attended elementary, Jr. High and High schools in South Austin and
graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1979. I taught for 13
years with AISD then took off 4 years to stay home with my two boys, James
and Ryan. I started at Spicewood substituting long term and had my first
Kindergarten class at Spicewood in 2002-2003. James graduated from Westwood
High School and Ryan is a Junior at Westwood. I have been married to my
wonderful husband, Michael, for 24 years this December. We have a dog named
Cosmos who is a 6 year old, wire haired terrier. I love taking care of my
family, and I like to read, cook, garden, and sew in my spare time.
Our class promises to do our best everyday.
