The Women in Engineering Program (WEP) at The University of Texas at Austin is currently accepting applications and registrations for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (Girl Day) and Consider Every Option (CEO). Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day is a free event for girls in the 1st – 8th grade. Students at Girl Day will work on fun activities that highlight math and science, meet engineers and UT engineering students, faculty and staff and get a free t-shirt after completing a survey at the end of the day. 2010 TAGT Parent Conference
As a follow-up to our recent statewide conference on Gifted Education last month in Houston,
the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented will host a day-long program for families that
will focus on issues and skills relative to parenting gifted children. Details are as follow:
