School Vision
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School seeks to foster the intellectual, spiritual, moral, physical, and social development of each child. Our goal is to produce students who are academically successful, strong in their faith, active in their stewardship, respectful of others, self-disciplined, and willing participants in their community. We will do this in conjuction with each student's family by modeling Christ as the teacher and imparting the core values of our Catholic faith.
About Our School
Since its inception in 1996, the school has grown from a kindergarten through fourth grade program with 75 students to a PreK through eighth grade program with over 530 students. We are accredited through the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department. Dedicated faculty and staff educate students in core curriculum as well as fine arts, physical and health education, computer technology, and Spanish. Daily religion instruction, weekly Mass, service projects, and Catholic Traditions lessons provide strong Christian formation for our students. Students learn to appreciate the many gifts they have been given and are blessed to have the opportunity to truly experience being the hands and feet of Christ for others. Extra curricular activities are available through sports, scouts, science and technology classes, academic competitions, and Student Council.
About Our Crest
The crest of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is full of symbolism and meaning. The chalice and host represent the Eucharist, the source and summit of our Catholic faith, which we strive to teach and live.
The open book represents our commitment we share as parents, teachers, and administration to the academic and physical education of each and every student.
The Tudor rose is the symbol of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. It represents the purity of our Blessed Mother, whom we aim to imitate.
The profile of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton reminds us of our patroness, whose dedication to children through Catholic education is our model.
The ribbon surrounding the shield is a reminder that in all we do, we must honor the tradition of Catholic education that has been passed down to us by the Church. In doing so, we honor St. Elizabeth Ann Seton who followed in this tradition, as well as give glory to Jesus Christ, whom she loved and glorified in her work as an educator. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School was founded in 1996.
