Fall Book Fair
December 4-14,2009
Calling all volunteers! The 2009 Fall Book Fair will need volunteers to help
run the Book Fair. Our book fairs have been very successful mainly due to
the dedication of parent and grandparent volunteers; the school depends on
its volunteers to give of their time and energy to make its book fair a huge
success. Look for details in Thursday weekly folders and in monthly
newsletter.
Library Web News:
I invite you to look at the library website. The website features
library news, book reviews, book lists, special events calendar, special
features such as Meet the Author, Birthday Book Club news, computer news, and
links to online reference and homework questions, search engines and much
more. Just log on to the school's website and follow the links to faculty.
Or you may access the website directly. The address is:
http://teacherweb.com/TX/StElizabethofHungaryCatholicSchool/MonicaEConnelly.
If you have any suggestions and/or ideas you would like included in the
website, please e-mail your suggestions to me.
Are you interested in volunteering in the Library????
If interested in volunteering your time and energy, we’d love to have you
join in on the fun. No prior library skills are needed - just a love of
books and kids. It’s a great fun way to earn those volunteer hours and
be part of the many library activities offered each month.
Grades PK-1 students enjoy storytelling thanks to volunteer parent
storytellers, who generously share their talent and time afternoons to read
to students.
The library welcomes donations of books, videos, DVDs, and audio tapes. The
only perquisite is that the donations are in good condition.
