I have been a teacher/librarian at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School
for 20 years. Over those 20 years, along with being the school librarian, I
have taught 6th grade Religion, Spanish, and most recently computer
technology to PK-3rd grades. I hold a BA degree from Our Lady of the Lake
University with a double major in Liberal Arts and Library Science; I have
completed 18 post-graduate hours at SMU towards my Masters degree, in
Computer Technology.
I have 40 years experience in both school and public libraries and 30 years
teaching experience.
My husband, Jack, and I have been married for 45 years. We are the parents
of 5 children and proud grandparents of 11 wonderful, talented and beautiful
grandchildren. We are members of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
The St. Elizabeth Library/Media Program is fully integrated into the
curriculum, serving the school's educational goals and objectives by
providing access to information and ideas by the entire school community.
The library/media program offers both traditional resources and new
technologies as teaching and learning tools.
St. Elizabeth School Library is committed to serving the needs of the
students, teachers, and staff of St. Elizabeth. Students have access to all
library services which include 10,000 titles, research materials, internet
services, AR and Reading Counts testing.
