About The Teacher
I am beginning my fourth year as your counselor at St. Francis de Sales. I have enjoyed working with the wonderful faculty, students, and parents at SFDS and look forward to another great year. I was born in Houston, attended St. Peter's School and St. Agnes Academy ('69). I have been happily married to my high school sweet heart, Ken for 39 years, in fact we were married at St. Francis de Sales Church(in the building that is now the gym). We have six wonderful children(five sons, one daughter), four super daughters-in-law, and four awesome grandchildren. I started college in 1993, when my youngest child started kindergarten and graduated from the University of Houston in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In 2002 I graduated from the Graduate College of Social Work at UH, with a Master of Social Work degree. Before I came to SFDS, I worked at a foster care and adoption agency.
