December 14-18

No homework this week!  We will be reviewing for the IOWA test this week in the morning and doing Christmas activities in the afternoon.

Wow - I sure missed the kids while I was gone.  It will be great to get back in the game tomorrow!  Their sub. said they were wonderful.

First grade is collecting items for a nursing home - socks, robes, lotion, powder, etc.  If your child could bring in something that would be wonderful. The items are due Monday, Dec. 14.  Also during the month of December our outside Bulletin board will have a small manger. If they do a kind act at home, they are to write it down (on a card I will provide).  For each kind act they will put a piece of hay (yarn) in the manger for Baby Jesus.  We will talk about how their kind acts will make a comfortable bed for Jesus.

Thursday, Dec. 17 will be our Polar Express day.  The children may come in pajamas and tennis shoes.  At 1:30 in the computer room they will be watching the Polar Express movie in 3D.  They will need to bring their box decorated like a train car to sit in during to movie.  I can't wait to see them.  It should be a fun day.

Friday, Dec. 18 the children will go to Mass at 8:00.  Coach Harris will then have a sing along with the school.  We will come back to the classroom and do an activity and have a snack.  We will dismiss at 11:30.  I can't believe half of the year is gone!  Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.

Be Safe!
Love, Mrs. Bergeron
