I am so excited to be a part of St. Joseph's Community. For fifteen years I
was active as a parent, volunteer and then a teacher at St. Elizabeth of
Hungary School. Three years ago our family moved to Lake Highlands, I
decided that I would like to find a job closer to home. Staying in a
Catholic School system was very important to me, I truly believe in Catholic
education. I feel that the Catholic Schools provide the nurturing and
education that is best for our children. I taught at St.Elizabeth School for
seven years, and am looking forward to my second year with you all.
My husband's name is Bob, and we have been married for 22 years. We have
two children; our daughter Megan will be a freshman at University of North
Texas in the fall, and our son Bobby is attending college and living in
Austin. We have a dog named Emma, three turtles (Speedy, Runaway, and
Altoid), and a hamster named Friar Fred.
I grew up in Ohio and attended Ohio State University (GO BUCKEYES!!); I
moved to Texas and graduated from Texas A&M Commerce, where I received my
degree, Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (B.S.I.S.), Reading
Specialist. I have a valid Texas State Board for Educator Certification,
and 6 hours towards my master degree with Texas A&M Commerce.
My favorite color is blue, I adore horses and dogs, and I love gardening in
my spare time. I love watching BL Football, BL volleyball, college football
and of course any JAG Team playing!
My favorite place in the world... anywhere that has a beach, the ocean, and
the sun!!
TELL ME, I FORGET
SHOW ME, I REMEMBER
INVOLVE ME, I UNDERSTAND.
