6th Grade Trip to Outdoor School in May
Still waiting to firm up the dates for the Spring Field trip to Camp
Champions.
I know most of you are well under way with fund raising! Keep working and
maybe you caould all go free!
You can Text me
Last winter I gave in and added texting to my cell phone plan. It seems
necessary for a Highschool hockey coach....texting is what my players know,
so if I want them to communicate with me....yup....texting. So this is good
news for you, my students parents. Feel free to text me with
questions...especially homework......you can text me at my cell phone
number. Oh yeah....e-mail still works great too. Keep in mind that I
normally check my e-mail after I put my son to bed around 8:30PM or 9:00PM.
Math Expectations...for all grades
The following rules have been instructed for the students to follow when
completing all Math assignments.
1. Paper heading: First and last name on the top right hand side
Date on the line under name
title of the assignment in the middle, include page number.
(ex: Page 13 #1-26 odd, 33,39,41)
Improper heading will be penalized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Document all work or the assignment will be done over or there will be
loss of credit. This means document borrowing (regrouping) and carrying etc.
3. Problems are to be done using the process shown in class
examples....refer too class notes for examples if needed.
4. Neatness matters....a neat paper will lead to fewer mistakes. Space out
all work. Skip lines between problems...leave space on the paper for
corrections and notes. Make sure problems do not run together and into each
other!! If I can't read it you will do it over or it will be marked
incorrect.
5. Circle all answers.
6. Pencil only!
7. Work is to be done on paper with neat edges. I will not accept homework
torn from a spiral notebook.
* If neatness is a challenge I can supply paper divided into workspace for
each problem. I also have graph paper to help organize neatness of numbers.
