Hi Parents and Students, I am teaching credit recovery classes, in both the combined class (Language Arts / Social Studies / Sciences during 2nd and 6th periods) as well as Math (all disciplines during 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th periods). In order to be eligible to take a credit recovery course you must have taken it previously as a regular class and failed it (for whatever reason). All courses are computer-based, and cover a set curriculum that is reviewed by the School District. The students work at their own pace and are expected to be self-motivated. I make sure that the environment is suitable for learning and provide them with help or extra materials they need to reference. I spend much of my time tutoring on an individual basis because it is more effective, and since different students are working on different courses. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns, comments or questions you have. You can also call but do not call during class time as this is disruptive to the class.
