Mrs. Castillo-West is a San Antonio native who recently transplanted back to
Austin after teaching several years in inner city schools. She heralds
sixteen teaching years which include all levels of English, Creative
Writing, Journalism, Speech, Ropes Challenge Course, Pre-AP and AP
Courses. She is a mother to a seven year old boy and a two old toddler.
When she is not busy grading papers and coloring dinosaur pictures with her
sons Noah and Lucas, Mrs. Castillo-West enjoys writing, drawing, reading
comic graphic novels and indulging in her favorite sour candies.
