How to embed a You Tube Video into your Webquest

Adding YouTube to PowerPoint
Tip:
•	This will only work if you have internet connection during the 
playback of your PowerPoint!
•	Press “F5” to begin watching this PowerPoint.
•	You will probably want to take notes as you watch the video!
NOTES
1.	Go down to powerpoint options and Click it
2.	Make sure that the Show Developer Tab “Checkbox is checked
3.	Exit out and go to Developer Tab
4.	Next, go to the Button called “More Controls”
5.	Scroll down to “Shockwave Flash Object”  Click it and then Click OK
6.	Click and drag your mouse to the Size  you want the Video to be
7.	Right Click and go to Properties
8.	Click on Movie
9.	Go to You tube and find the Video  you want
10.	Copy the URL (Ctrl C)
11.	Go back to Powerpoint
12.	Go to movie again and paste the URL (Ctrl V)
13.	In the URL erase “Watch?” and change all the = to /
14.	Exit Out
15.	Watch the Slide Show by pressing F5

How do you make a podcast?

How to create a Podcast
	
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
•	A Microphone
•	Audio editing software
•	A website or hosting website service that you can upload your podcast
•	An RSS feed
1.	Download Audacity a free software program from windows
2.	 While at the Audacity website, also download the MP3 encoder 
(allows you to save your 
Podcast as a mp3 file

3.	After you download it, you want to be able to extract it to the 
plugins folder in Audacity
(go to Audacity, plugins folder and click extract)

4.	Now go to Audacity to Record your Podcast .  You will be able to 
record, cut and trim, take out the background noise, or normalize the clip. 
After editing Save as a MP3 file
5.	Now you can export it as an Mp3 file create a tag.  If you want a 
more detailed description 
Including pictures then you may want to download mp3tag
6.	Want to upload your podcast to the internet.  Some sites are 
podango.com.  If you have a wordpress account, you can download Wordpress 
which has an add-in that allows you to 
add your podcast.  Another site is Easypodcast.com which allows you to 
create your own 
RSS feeds.  An all in one site is Mypodcast.com which allows recording, 
publishing and airing ouf your podcast.
7.	Next submit your podcasts to search engines for others to experience
