UT NSBE Hype Conference is a free, one-day visit for high school students in
the Austin area that are interested in learning how engineering affects the
world in which we live in. The National Society of Black Engineers would like
to uphold its mission which is "to increase the number of culturally
responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally
and positively impact the community." African-American students, as well as
those who have overcome social or economic hardship, are encouraged to
participate. The Hype Conference is open to all students interested in the
STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. This is a one day
event from 930am -230pm.
