Texas State University-Bobcat Promise- Texas State's New Tuition 
assistance program.  For first time Texas resident freshman with 
reported adjusted gross family income of $25,000 or less.

UT Arlington- Maverick Promise- Students must have a family 
income of $65,000 or less.

University of Houston- Cougar Promise-  A high school graduate 
who has earned a recommended or distinguished diploma. A member 
of a family whose adjusted gross income does not exceed $30,000.

Univeristy of Houston- Victoria freshmen and sophomores whose 
families have an annual income of $50,000 or less can expect to 
have all of their tuition and fees covered by federal, state 
and/or university aid while they are obtaining their bachelor’s 
degree. Those whose families have annual incomes from $50,001 to 
$90,000 will have 50 percent of their tuition and fees covered, 
and those with family incomes of more than $90,000 will receive 
up to a $1,000 UHV scholarship.
