Welcome!
Thank you for visiting this site and here is a short Bio of me.
I was born in Vietnam and am Chinese in ethnicity. I came to the United
States in 1979 but still consider myself an ELL. I graduated from college in
1990 at the University of Central Florida with a BSEE degree. Eighteen years
later I received my Master of Science in Mathmatics from the University of
Texas Pan American.
I have two daughters who also attend Round Rock ISD schools. My husband is
a Senior Staff System Engineer, but I can tell you that his job is nowhere
near as interesting as mine (if I can say so myself!). I never thought that
I would make a career out of teaching, but now that I have taught for five
years, I can't imagine myself of doing anything else.
This is my first year at Stony Point, and I am excited to be here. I know
we are going to have a great school year. We will be learning many geometric
concepts while using the Sketchpad to enhance our learning. We will also
review Algebra objectives daily so that we will be ready for the TAKS test
in April. Who knows, we might even exchange a few good laughs, funny jokes
and life-changing stories along the way.
