I have been a RN, BSN for 9 years with my specialty areas being Pediatric ICU
and ER. I also worked as a travel nurse which opened my eyes to the ways
other hospitals operated and procedures that worked and did not work. I have
a passion for healthcare and for education so this position is the best of
both worlds. This is my first experience teaching on the secondary level and
I look forward to guiding your student into the endless possibilities in
healthcare.
I recently married my husband Terry Wright who serves as a Youth Pastor at
Westoak Woods Baptist Church in Southwest Austin. We have no children at this
time.
My mission is to educate and equip students with knowledge and skills, and
reveal to them the opportunities that are embedded in this profession which
in hopes will lead them to their passion.
