Students in IGCC will have reading materials that should be completed
outside of class to prepare for work completed in class. Quizzes and exams
will include questions from the reading assigned.
Some students may need additional time outside of class to complete classroom
assignments on time. A USB flash or jump drive would be a useful item for
students who need to carry their work from class to home and back again.
Students may work on assigned AutoCAD drawings at home for practice;
however, students will require the teacher's permission to submit drawings
worked on outside of the classroom for credit.

Students who complete all of the requirements for the Technical Drafting
content will be invited to participate in activities using Photoshop, Flash,
Moviemaker and other graphic communication applications.
If the above software is not available at home, students should be sure to
arrange with me to use the lab before or after school. Students will be given
access to a free 14-month subscription of AutoCAD to use at home.
