The quadratics re-test will be given on Monday & Tuesday. We started chapter 6 (polynomial functions) and will continue to weave a little of that in through Thursday. Friday and then Monday Dec 14 will be spent on final exam reviews.
Exemption from exams was given to the students on Thursday. It is very important that the form be filled out, signed by teachers and parents and returned by Wednesday Dec 9 by 4:30. There are no excuses for turning in the form late. You will simply not be able to exempt any exams. I have the final exam schedule on the main page and the school news page.
For this six weeks, I will have duty on B day mornings again. That will limit morning tutorials to A days or B days until 8:40.
If you have not had a chance, please check out my calendar page. I finally got the 2nd six weeks loaded at least through the quadratics chapter. I try to use that page as "information central" for my classes. Of course, you can see what I have planned for the full six weeks. Even more, I have linked the homework assignments and class notes to the calendar as well. From there, you can download copies of the homework assignment for that rare time when a freshman loses the copy that I gave them, or completed sets of class notes. Be aware that there will be 2 calendars as I now have algebra 1 and algebra 2, so make sure that you are reading the correct one.
The link below is to Adopt-A-Classroom. Through this site, you can donate to our class, and I can buy paper, charts, marker pens, and other much needed supplies. I am very grateful for all of the support that parents give to my class and my students
