What days are TUTORIALS offered to Ms. Marshall's classes?

There is an appointment sign-up sheet for tutorials readily available to students every day in the
classroom. Appointments are not required but are appreciated; if I know in advance that a
student is attending, I can better prepare for that session.

Mondays & Wednesdays = 4:10-5:10
Tuesdays & Thursdays = 8:30-9:00

The goal of tutorials is to provide students assistance, with minimal distraction, when faced with
difficult academic objectives; so STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE TO TUTORIALS ON TIME. Failure to do
so will result in losing the right to attend that tutorial session.

*Please Note: The tutorial schedule is subject to change.

When should a student attend TUTORIALS?

Students needing help on assignments and/or make-up work should attend tutorials BEFORE THE
DUE DATE! Waiting until after the due date most often results in falling behind on other, more
current, assignments while playing "catch up" and losing points on the one past due.

What is the MAKE-UP WORK policy?

When a student is absent, the student has equal number of days to the absence to turn in make-
up work. Therefore, it is imperative that he/she come to tutorials BEFORE THE DUE DATE.
--Example: When a student misses Monday and comes to class on Wednesday, he/she is
expected to turn in Monday's assignment(s) on Friday upon return to class. The appropriate
tutorial for this situation would be Wednesday and/or Thursday.

*IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO GET THE ASSIGNMENTS MISSED DURING HIS/HER
ABSENCE.
