Witnessing 9th grade students transition from middle school to high school is such an amazing
experience! I am proud to say that the 2009-2010 academic year marks my sixth year teaching 9th
grade students, and I am sincerely looking forward to it!
In addition to teaching, I am the SP 9 English Language Arts and Reading Department Chairperson for
2009-2010.
As for my educational background:
-My high school experience was spread between Virginia and Texas.
-I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2001 and am certified in
English Language Arts and Reading with ESL Endorsement.
To provide students with positive learning opportunities that will
lead them to a deeper appreciation for reading and writing!
In addition, I strive to teach and model the professional and social skills that
will enhance each student's opportunity for individual life successes.
