This is my fourteenth year to teach math. I graduated from East Texas State
University (now Texas A & M University - Commerce) in 1996 and have been
teaching ever since. This is my second career. I worked as a professional
secretary for 22 years. I love kids;therefore,I love what I do.
I am married with two daughters and four granddaughters. I live in Round Rock
and I plan to continue working for the Round Rock district until I retire.
I am originally from the northeast Texas area, so moving here has been
exciting. My home town has approximately 3500 people, so I am happily
getting acclimated to city life. So far, I'm loving it.
My mission is to teach Algebra I in a way my students will enjoy. I want
them to understand the concepts and be able to apply them as well. Because
Algebra I is the foundation for the rest of the high school math courses, I
want that foundation to be rock solid.
