Students should begin their Reading Workshop reading at home starting Wednesday, Sept. 16th.  See "Reading Workshop Guidelines" handout for details.
 
Due to our late start on Reading Workshop, projects are not going to be required for the first six weeks.  Reading Workshop grades for this six weeks grades will be based on 1)having a book in class, 2) dialectic journal entries (students should have 9 entries), and 3) in class conference over book.
 
 
The following items are not past due.  Please make sure to turn them in ASAP if you have not done so already...
                 
                   -  Parent Contact Sheet
                   -  Discipline Management Contract
                   -  SUPPLIES!  (please go to the Supplies tab if you need a reminder)
