After receiving a degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas and
spending several years working in retail management, I decided to go back to
school to pursue my true passion... teaching. While working on my
certification to teach high school English, I discovered great satisfaction
in working in Special Education and promptly added that to my course of
study.
Since beginning my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work with a
wide range of students in various environments - teaching 6-9th grade, both
English and Math, Resource and Inclusion. 2009-2010 will mark my 3rd year at
Stony Point 9th Grade Center, teaching Applied English I and co-teaching
English I with Mrs. Candice Heilman-Ross. I am looking
forward to an amazing year!
