I was born and raised in El Paso, TX in a family full of educators. I
attended college at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi where I earned my Bachelor of
Arts degree in English. I then moved to Austin, TX and attended Texas State
University to earn my Texas teaching certification.
I am married to a wonderful man (6 years) and we have a 5-year old son.
This is my fourth year teaching at SP9 and I absolutely love it!
In my spare time, I like to create hand-made cards, watch football (Go
Cowboys and Longhorns!), read (on average, I read about 2 books a week), and
surf the internet.
In our English class, our mission is to develop ourselves into life-long
learners. Learning does not stop once we are through with formal education.
We must continue to discover and explore the world in which we live.
