Welcome to Our Class!!!
Dear parents,
I can't believe that we have reached the end of the first semester already!! It is time to start thinking about all that has to be done next semester. Visual transition plans, ARDs, visits to the main campus, and the ever present TAKS-ALT.
With a new High School opening next year, Stony Point will be a little smaller. Cedar Ridge will open with Freshman and Sophmores. All of my current students will still fall into the Stony Point High School attendance area. That means that they all will be going to the 10-12 campus. In case you are interested, the FAC teachers there are: Ingelore Hanham, Dan Wright, Clare Jordan, and Emily Bagly. The first 3 have been there for awhile with Ms. Bagly joining the staff this year.
I hope that everyone has a fun and a safe holiday season. The staff will return to campus Jan. 4th, with the students returning on Jan. 5th. Other dates to keep in mind are:
Jan. 18th - no school Holiday
Feb 15th - no school Staff Development
March 15-19 Spring Break
April 2 - no school Holiday
May 26,27,28 Early release due to finals.
May 29- Summer break begins.
