1. Be able to list four advantages of seeds and describe how each advantage 
has helped seed plants to become successful on land.
2. What characteristics are shared by modern land plants AND algae?
3. Provide the function of the following structures:
   a. xylem
   b. phloem

4. Be able to draw and explain the "alternation of generations" life cycle 
for plants (gametophyte --> sporophyte)
