About The Teacher

Glen Martin teaches the required Pre-AP Computer Science course and the
optional AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science AB, and Technology
Applications Independent Study, courses.

He is certified to teach computer science and mathematics, is an AP Reader
(grades AP tests), and is a College Board endorsed workshop consultant
(teaches other AP Teachers).

TAG's computer science program has been named the most successful small 
school AP computer science program in the nation/world by the College Board.

He received a 2007 Texas Instruments Foundation Innovations in STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Teaching Award.

He was honored as the 2005-2006 Siemens AP Teacher of the Year for Texas.

In 2004-2005 he was the TAG Teacher of the year and a DISD Teacher of the 
Year Semi-finalist.
