Starting my 9th year at the Talented and Gifted Magnet High School and
looking forward to an exciting year. Have worked for Dallas ISD for 13 years
including duties as a TAP high school teacher in special education and a
high school social studies teacher at the Juvenile Justice Center.
Before starting in education, served a tour of duty in the U. S. Air Force
as a firefighter and spent several years in fire protection in the private
sector.
My wife Sue and I have been married for 25 years and we have two sons Kyle
and Steven. Sue works in the health care field, Kyle a recent grad from UNT
and works as a government contractor, Steven is a senior at UNT. Sue and I
also own an antique business.
Hobbies; we enjoy the outdoors, deep sea and surf fishing, traveling,
reading, gardening, and sometimes just riding around on my tractor.
Also enjoy volunteering at the American Red Cross.
Graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a major in
Political Science
