P.T. & Adaptive P.E.

PHYSICAL THERAPY
Twice a month, our physical therapist, Amy DePrang, comes from 9:30-
10:30. She works with and observes the children, and then provides
feedback to the teachers and the graduate students who direct the adaptive
P.E. time concerning individual and group gross motor development. Amy is
usually here the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month. Her email address is
 amyv@cookchildrens.org

Amy's next visits will be:
Wednesdays, April 9th & 23rd

ADAPTIVE P.E.
Students from the TCU Kinesiology Department direct daily PE activities,
adapted to each child's needs and goals. This semester we have Miss
Amanda Y. She plans the activities under the supervision of her professors,
Dr. Pope and Dr. Rhea, and guidance from Amy DePrang, our P.T. The ratio of
child to adult is usually no greater than 3 to 1, as classroom teachers,
teaching assistants, teacher-supported aides, volunteers, and other
kinesiology students assist with the children. A variety of materials and
presentation methods, including music, are utilized. This is a wonderful
addition to the children's gross motor programming!

P.E. times:

     Pre-K Class 10:00-10:30
