MISS KRISTEN:
I have been teaching special education for eleven years and previously
taught in the White Settlement Independent School District. I have taught
early childhood through intermediate school and have also worked at Cook
Children’s Hospital in the adolescent psychiatric unit. I have been at the
KinderFrogs School for seven years, both in the Toddler and Pre-K classes
and now as the teacher of the L.E.A.P. class.
I have a B.A. in Art History from Trinity University and my M.Ed. in Special
Education from TCU. I have also completed my administrative certification. I
am interested in improving the inclusion of students with special needs into
general education classrooms and enjoy working with various teachers and
parents as our students transition to other programs.
I am married and have three children. My daughter, Meghan, is nine years
old and attends Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center --- she is in fourth
grade. My son, Wyatt, is 5 years old and is also a student at Alice Carlson.
Gatlin is 3 years old. Our family enjoys taking day trips on the weekends
and vacations to New Mexico and Colorado during the hot Texas summers.

MISS RANELLA:
I have been teaching for over 20 years --- all ages 0-18 --- and I just love
it! I have a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from UNT, with 30 graduate
hours in Special Education; in addition, I have taken 6 hours of post-
graduate work in education at TCU.
I have both a generic Special Education and Early Childhood Handicapped
endorsement, and also Gifted/Talented certification. I attend workshops,
inservices, and do a lot of independent reading and research.
I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi (International Honor Society in Education),
NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), SECA
(Southern Early Childhood Association), NAEA (National Art Education
Association), and TAEA (Texas Art Education Association). I also have a PTA
Life Membership.
I have taught in Ft.Worth ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Crowley ISD, and also at
the Ft.Worth State School and Easter Seals.
This is my 6th year at TCU KinderFrogs School --- I have enjoyed teaching
the
Toddler Class for the past 5 years, and this year I am so excited to be
teaching the Pre-K Class. In the past, I have taught various Special
Education classes (infant stimulation, 3-5 year olds, 6-9 year olds, and
others), art (grades K-8), and math (6th grade).
I am married and have two children --- Rani, our daughter, is attending the
Gary Job Corps Training Center in San Marcos. Rani has spent many hours
volunteering in our KinderFrogs Toddler Class. Our son, Robert, is a senior
at TCU majoring in secondary education with special interests in physics,
environmental science, music, and philosophy --- he is doing his student
teaching this fall at Paschal High School in the Fort Worth ISD. He has
been in the TCU Concert Chorale, Men's Chorus, and the Circle K service
organization on campus. He has also been part of the Chancelor's Leadership
Program and in the Honors Program.
In my "free" time I enjoy doing things with my family, taking ballroom
dancing lessons with my husband, reading, visiting art museums, working in
the yard, playing the piano, completing math logic puzzles, and surfing the
Internet for great teaching ideas! I am also active in the UMW at my
church, First United Methodist of Ft. Worth.

MISS LIBBY:
Hello friends! My name is Mrs. Libby Middleton and I am so excited to be
starting my first year here at KinderFrogs. You can tell from the moment
that you walk in the doors here that it is a special place full of special
people. I have been teaching for the past four years in a functional
academics class in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district. I graduated in
2003 from Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
My husband, Brandon, and I have been married for almost 5 years. We have a 1
year old daughter named Audrey Kate. I grew up in East Texas and moved to
the Fort Worth area shortly after I got married. My family and I like to
travel, exercise, and spend quality time with family and friends.
I knew from the time that I was a young adult that I wanted to work with
students with learning differences. Special education holds a special place
in my heart. I believe that all students are capable of learning and
students generally meet the expectations we set for them, high or low.
From me, you can expect open and honest communication. I will treat the
students in my classroom as my own and hold them to the highest standards. I
will do my best to see that they become the most successful individuals that
they can be. Thanks for sharing your child with me!

In our KinderFrogs classes, we strive to help each child be the very best he
or she can be by providing the kinds of activities and environment that will
assist in the development of trust, independence, curiousity, and
responsibility.
