About The Teacher
Dear Parents, My name is Rebecca Jay and I will be your child’s teacher in the Functional Academic Classroom (FAC) during the 2011-2012 academic school year! I'm looking forward to another great year! Let me tell you a little about myself. This will be my third year at Teravista Elementary. Before coming to Round Rock ISD I taught special education at a charter school in Austin for two years. I have worked for six years as a in home respite and community support provider. I grew up in Austin and graduated from Texas Tech University. On a personal note... I have two small yorkies Riley who is 6 and Khloe who is 2! In my free time I love to read or watch movies and if I go out to eat it's usually for sushi! My favorite place to go out to eat in Round Rock is Chuy's! I am very excited about this upcoming school year at Teravista! I look forward to getting to know all of you and your children. I know we are going to have an amazing year! See you all soon, Ms. Jay
