What is the Terrific Tiger Poster?
Classes who have all pins on their bucket facing out at the end
of lunch will earn a mark/sticker on the Terrific Tiger cafeteria
poster (managed by the cafeteria monitor). After earning a pre-
determined number of marks (indicated by a golden star), that
class will be awarded a golden ticket.
What is the Golden Ticket?
After reaching a goal on the Terrific Tiger Poster, the class
will earn a "Golden Ticket". A menu will be on display in the
cafeteria with various prizes a class can cash in for golden
tickets. Some prizes will cost 1 golden ticket, while others may
cost as much as 3 Golden Tickets.
After earning a golden ticket, a new goal is set on the cafeteria
poster.
What is the Tiger Table Trophy?
Mary (our lead custodian) will announce each week a class
winner for the table with the best manners and cleanest table.
That class will be announced on our morning broadcast and will
get to sit at lunch with the "Tiger Table Trophy".
What are the buckets I see on lunch tables?
Each class will have a bucket and students will each have a
designated clothespin. Lunchroom monitors will use the
clothespins to communicate behavior messages to teachers. *Each
classroom teacher is responsible for handling the student
behavior and parent communication w/in their own class.
1st warning- Turn clothespin facing in.
2nd warning- clothespin in the bucket.
What is the Token system
Each classroom will need to have some kind of token system which
allows each student to earn tokens (stickers, punches, stamps,
marbles) for their positive choices. After reaching 20 tokens,
students are then awarded a "Tiger Ticket".
What is a Tiger Ticket
Students can use the ticket to redeem prizes determined by the
teacher (lunch w/ the teacher, treasure box, homework pass, etc),
trip to the office treasure chest or other special "Tiger Ticket"
awards announced by staff throughout the year. This will offer
the flexibility to adjust the reinforcers to the individual needs
of our kids. The prize awarder initials the ticket when the
student receives the prize.
What are the cafeteria rules?
Use inside voices.
Keep hands and feet to self.
Use good manners and keep a clean area.
Enter and exit the cafeteria quietly
