Our first few weeks of school went great!  Here is a picture of our class on the first day.

 

During Social Studies we created a classroom newspaper all about us!  We used large paper grocery bags to create them and worked on a page per day until the papers were ready to be sent home.  Here is the cover of one of the newspapers.

 

We worked hard to finish the rest of the pages!

 

 

 

Once everyone was finished, each student got a newspaper bag that I had been saving for them.  We packaged our papers and sent them home to be read by parents.  Some of the kids even placed the papers outside on the porch for their parents to find!
