I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1974 and began teaching during the
1974-75 school year.
After teaching for five years, I joined the Celanese Corporation in 1979,
where I worked in the laboratory and eventually became the training
coordinator for the Laboratory, the On-stream Analyzer Group, and Shipping
Services. I was a Celanese representative on the founding Advisory
Committee that established the Process Technology Program for Wharton County
Junior College, and helped start the first school for that program in
Matagorda County.
I retired after 22 years of service with Celanese and joined the faculty of
Tidehaven High School in the fall of 2001.
I've found my home.
