Petersen LetterE-mail: petersenm@trinityklein.org MEMORY from now until Christmas will be the Christmas story from Luke 2:1-20 (KJV). Your child will be given a copy of this memory and their memory assignment will come from this sheet. There is also a copy of Luke 2:1-20 on the web page. It has become a tradition for our children to recite the Christmas story in our Children's Christmas program in December. For those of you who are new, this will be quite a challenge, but it is easily achievable if you keep up (-: SOCIAL STUDIES TEST THIS THURSDAY, NOV. 12. We are continuing with the multiplication quizzes in our room. Soon we will have all the facts refreshed and ready to go on in our math books. Please help by quizzing your child at home, or on the way to school. We are learning the facts up to the 12's. AR: Accelerated Reader is off to a good start. There is someone in the lab every morning before school to put in passwords for students who are taking AR tests. Having your child at school at 7:45 can allow them time to unpack their things, fill in assignment sheets, turn in homework and still take an AR test before 8:00. Your child can also take an AR test on Wednesday when we have computer in the lab. I have selected Friday as our "prize day". I will pull up the class list that morning and see who has earned a prize and we will take care of the prizes on the way back from lunch. You, also, can access AR from home to track your child's progress. If you have any concerns and/or questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail me. Blessings on your week, Marilyn Petersen
