REMINDER:  The weather is getting cooler outside. Please remember to send a jacket with your child to school, for recess and PE outside play.

We are accepting donations to our Scholar Dollar Store. Anything that you may need to get rid of, such as office supplies, old Happy Meal toys, board games your children have outgrown, or anything else you may think you don't need anymore that a kid might love, please send to your third grade teacher!!! We would appreciate any donations you may have!

SUPPLIES: It's that time of year when your child is running out of his/her supplies. Please allow your child to bring supplies they say they may need in his/her classroom. Some of the commonly used supplies are:

No. 2 Pencils, Glue Sticks, Construction Paper, Pink Erasers, Crayons, & Notebook Paper

During Read Alouds, Mrs. Guettler is reading Texas Bluebonnet Award books, which students can take AR Tests on, as well as vote at the end of the year, for their favorite books. We have reached our 5 Bluebonnet Award Book Goal!!! We are now shooting for 10!!!

Remember, for every 10 points a student receives, he/she is awarded another Tag! Each 9 weeks, 3rd graders are expected to gain 10 or more AR points for the grading period.

We are constantly reminding our students to use their strategies, whether in Math or Reading, in order to find our answers to our problems. Please help us reinforce these skills at home when helping your child with homework. We appreciate your help!

Thanks for visiting our webpage, and remember, keep up the outstanding work!
