Introduction

How many of you have ever visited or lived on a farm? There are many types of 
farm animals that live on farms. They all have their own jobs that they do 
everyday to keep the farm functioning. You can see farm animals at many other 
places besides a farm. Some people have farm animals as thier pets. This 
WebQuest is for you, my kindergarten students, to explore websites and read 
books about farm animals. You will learn that each one has its own special 
sound and job on a farm. After exploring through some websites and reading 
some books, we will write a class story about life on a farm. There are some 
coloring pages you might want to print out and save for our book. At the end 
of this unit, we will act out our story in dramatic play time. Good luck and
