| 1. The first thing you will do is explore five different websites. All these
websites are about farm animals and life on a farm. Some have pictures,
sounds, coloring pages, and games. Take your time and have fun!

2. Next, you will read three books of your choice relating to farms or farm
animals. You may choose one of the following books or have me approve one
that is not on the list.
-A Field Full of Horses
-Eyewitness Guide to the Farm
-Farm Animals
-Touch and Feel Farm
-Blossom Comes Home
-The Chicken That Could Swim
-The Milk Makers
-All Pigs are Beautiful
-Sam the Horse
-Woolly Sheep and Hungry Goats
3. Using information you learned or printed off the websites and ideas from
your books, pick your favorite farm animal and create your own page. You may
use crayons, markers, construction paper, pens, pencils, scissors and glue to
create your page.
4. We will group like animals and arrange our book as a class.
5. After reading the book together several times, we will act out our own
special story in dramatic play time.
