7th Grade Language Arts
My husband, Brian and I have two daughters, Katie and Mandy who both
graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, two son-in-laws, Tyler and
Dan, and a pug, Max. I love the beach, swimming, reading, spending time with
my family, college football season,and the New England Patriots.
I have taught in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
My experience includes first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and now 7th
grade. I have a B.S. in elementary education (K-8), and graduate hours in a
reading specialist program. I attended the University of Texas Heart of
Texas Summer Invitational Writing Institute in 2008, and am now a Teacher
Consultant and member of the National Writing Project. I am thrilled to be
your child's teacher this year.
