We are currently accepting nominations for transfer students who were
previously in gifted programs.
If you would like to refer your child to be tested to possibly receive
Talented and Gifted (TAG) services,
please follow the directions below:
➢ Go to www.roundrockisd.org, scroll over the word “Academics.”
➢ Click on “Gifted and Advanced Academic Services”
➢ Click on “Announcements/Newsflash”
➢ There will be a direct link to the referral packet.
➢ Print the packet, complete the information, turn in to Summer Neary
by December 4, 2009.
Referrals open on November 16th and close on December 4th.
NAGC, the National Association for Gifted Children, will be hosting it's
final 2009 Webinars on Wednesdays presentation December 16 at 7:00 pm Eastern
(6:00 Central). NAGC's Webinars on Wednesdays brings top-notch educational
content directly to your home or office. Experts in the field share
practical advice as well as updates on the latest issues in gifted
education. You can experience the live WOW sessions via the Internet with
the ability to listen, view slides, access handouts, and pose questions to
presenters, as well as interact virtually with other participants. Sessions
will be available as archives via the NAGC Live Learning Center 48 hours
after the live event. Registration for the WOW series is free through 2009!
In this special Parent Night presentation, Dr. Del Siegle of the University
of Connecticut will focus on The Power of Advocacy. Registration for this
