The Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students states in
section 2.3A (Program Design) that "School Districts, when possible, shall
provide out-of-school options relevant to the student's area of strength."

Round Rock ISD supports the involvement of our advanced and gifted students
in numerous programs and organizations which offer to meet the needs of these
learners outside the regular school curriculum.

Campus participation in such programs is optional, but encouraged.
Many programs rely on parents or teachers to serve as the sponsor or team
manager and are open to the full campus population.
