This is my second year at Walsh and 4th year as a counselor. I will be working part-time this year, and my main focus will be TAG and 504 student needs. I will continue to support my students from last year as my schedule permits, which includes assisting with 8th grade registration and small group counseling.
I am very excited to be the counselor for 7th & 8th grades! This is my second year at Walsh and it is such a pleasure to have the opportunity to follow the students to seventh grade and work with the 8th grade students on teams 8.2 & 8.3. I am married to Danny Presley and I have 2 children. My son, Zak, is a current graduate and former baseball player of the University of Houston and is entering Law School in the fall at Texas Weslyn in Fort Worth. My daughter, Sam, is a sophomore at Baylor University. My husband and I are so happy to be in Round Rock ISD and look forward to a great year! Please feel free to contact me at anytime.
Howdy Walsh Wildcats! I am honored to be joining the amazing staff at Walsh as the counselor for 6th grade and 8th grade team 8.1. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University (whoop!) and Texas State University. I have nine years of experience as an educator- six as a classroom teacher and three as a counselor. I have had the pleasure of being a counselor at both the elementary and middle school levels and I have taught both 6th grade Language Arts as well as High School English. I am married to Joel Taylor and we have 2 sweet children. Caleb, my son, is six years old and in 1st grade at Cactus Ranch Elementary and Kendall, my daughter, is three years old and is in Pre-K. I look forward to getting to know you all and being a part of such an excellent community! Please feel free to contact me at anytime.
