I am so excited about starting my new adventure at Walsh Middle School.
Prior to coming to Round Rock ISD, I taught math at Tomball Junior High which
is about 30 miles northwest of Houston. I was happy to call TJHS my home for
5 years. I chose to relocate to the Austin area this year to be closer to
family, and I am so happy I did! I have a 6-year old son named Ryan who will
be starting 1st Grade at Cactus Ranch this year. He is my pride and joy and
I treat every students as though he/she is my own!
I grew up in Tyler, Texas where I attended Robert E. Lee High School then
received my bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University. I was a
proud captain of the women's basketball team at both schools where I received
athletic, as well as, academic honors.
I look forward to the school year with both you and your child at Walsh
Middle School.
