RRISD has once again begun offering Spanish-speaking parent workshops titled "Conversations of Hope" as a way to provide information on a variety of issues such as attendance laws, dropout prevention, the RRISD school system, the University Leadership Initiative, and many other topics in Spanish. English Literacy and Civics Education (EL-Civics) Classes
Round Rock ISD offers free adult English classes through the EL-Civics grant. The EL-Civics program is designed to assist beginning English speakers whose native language is a language other than English or are immigrants. The civics education portion includes how to access local assistance agencies including health care, banking and children educational services. Classes are free but space is limited. Priority is given in order to those who have children that attend that campus, parents whose children attend any RRISD school, adults who live in Round Rock, and others if space is available. Childcare is free for children from one year to 10 years old. Space is limited.
